Abstract:

The aim of the project is exchange of information and transfer of knowledge to countries without anaerobic digestion (AD) development and stimulation for further development in countries where the technology exists. The AD technology can treat and solve problems with types of waste which other technologies cannot solve. This gives environmental benefits at an cost efficient level. AD is a very overseen technology, and it needs information for increased deployment within the EU. The network will help with understanding the technology and show how the constraints can be overcome with examples and knowledge transfer from the few countries where is has been developed.
