Abstract

The CELLU-UPGRADE project aims to:

modify cellulosic textile materials (50% of all textile materials) in order to improve their properties,
to make them dryable with reactive dyes in an environmentally friendly way,
most desirably increase the durability to household washing.

In the project European market leaders of cellulosic fibre and -fabric production work closely together with leading scientific institutions in this field.
