Abstract

The CELLU-UPGRADE project aims to:

  • modify cellulosic textile materials (50% of all textile materials) in order to improve their properties,
  • to make them dryable with reactive dyes in an environmentally friendly way,
  • most desirably increase the durability to household washing.

In the project European market leaders of cellulosic fibre and -fabric production work closely together with leading scientific institutions in this field.
