This project, supported by the EC, disseminates information concerning the development of renewable energies in Europe and estimates the extent to which new technologies penetrate the total energy supply. It also provides forsight for the following years in comparison with other conventional sources, investments and employment created by the implementation of these technologies.

EurObserv'ER is a consortium made of the following Europeans organizations :

• Observ'ER, the Observatory of Renewable Energies (France),
• EUFORES, The European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources
• Eurec Agency, the European Association of Renewable Energy Research Centers
• EREC, The European Renewable Energy Council
